OUTCRY Billboard Goes Up in Dayton Ohio Leading Up to Critical 2023 Election!
Leading up to the critical election with the hard fought Issue 1 Reproductive Rights ballot measure on it, Whitney worked with reproductive rights activists in Ohio to install this billboard in a landscape full of religious billboards in Dayton, Ohio. She led OUTCRY scream sessions for the activists and the community prior to the election while joining forces with the activists to share the truth about the measure and encourage people to vote YES on it, despite the Republicans massive and deceitful campaign meant to confuse the population by altering the language of the ballot measure. On November 7, 2023 Ohioans voices were heard and Issue 1 passed, enshrining reproductive rights including abortion into the state constitution!

Body Sovereignty Artist March. Chicago. April 15, 2023. Organized by Artists Michele Pred, Whitney Bradshaw, and Michelle Hartney
Body Sovereignty: A Fundamental Human Rights Issue
In the United States, our fundamental rights are under attack, threatening our collective health and well-being. The US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, revoking our right to control our bodies and have the right to choose something as significant as when to become parents. Fundamentalist conservatives across the country have followed suit, not only further criminalizing abortion, but also gender-affirming care, and most recently passing anti-drag legislation.
The Body Sovereignty artist march is meant to inform the public of the extremely discriminatory legislation that has passed and to inspire people to take action to protect everyone's bodily autonomy and safeguard the health of our nation. We hope that through our collective activism and our individual artworks we can encourage people to stand up for their rights, those of others, and join us in the fight for a more just and equitable society.
We are not truly free without the fundamental right to control our own bodies and express our unique identities as we choose, without discrimination

"OUTCRY VOTE/Your Silence Will Not Protect You" Risograph Prints Go Up Across the Country Leading Up To the Midterm Elections 2022
While at Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archives for her exhibition there, Bradshaw designed and printed hundreds of Risograph prints to encourage people to VOTE in the critical Midterm Elections. Additionally, Bradshaw shared the poster designs widely over social media and sent them to all 420 OUTCRY participants, many of whom put them up in their communities and shared them over social media outlets.
VOTING posters were added to the OUTCRY exhibition at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archives massive outdoor screen on November 1, 2022. They will remain up through the end of the show on December 1, 2022.
